How LearnGermanOnWA works
- Say HI on WhatsApp. Tap our link or scan the code, send "HI", and our assistant asks for your first name, an email address, and a quick yes to our Terms and Privacy Policy.
- Set a password. We text you a one-time link — valid for 30 minutes and usable once — to the website, where you create your account password.
- Open your first lesson. It's waiting for you the moment you set your password: vocabulary, a short grammar note, a reading passage and a video, all on one page.
- Take the daily test — or don't. It's ten questions, multiple choice and short answer, graded instantly. Skipping it never blocks tomorrow's lesson.
- Come back tomorrow. A new lesson unlocks automatically. If you're quiet for a few days, we'll send one gentle WhatsApp reminder — never more than a few, and you can turn it off in your profile.
Why WhatsApp?
You already have it open. Registration, reminders and account recovery happen there, so a lesson is never more than one tap away. The lessons themselves live on this website, where there's room for a proper reading passage, a real test and a video — WhatsApp is the doorbell, not the classroom.
Self-paced, not calendar-paced
Everyone starts at Day 1, whatever the date is when they join. One new day unlocks every 24 hours, so missing a day never means catching up on someone else's schedule.
